Shipping

Title to, and ownership of, all wine or spirits bottles pass from TK Wine to the purchaser once payment has been made. Because title to and ownership of the wine or spirits purchased transfers to the purchaser at the time of payment, the transaction takes place in California regardless of the state in which the purchaser resides. California sales tax will be charged for all orders.


The purchaser owns title of the wine or spirits once the purchase is complete upon payment. Therefore, the purchaser is responsible for either picking up the order or arranging for the order to be shipped to their residence or business using the carrier of their choice. TK Wine does not ship the customer owned products but will assist purchasers in arranging shipment of the product they purchased to the designated location. By facilitating the purchaser’s arrangement for transportation of the wine or spirits, TK Wine provides a service to and is acting on behalf of the purchaser. By utilizing this service, the purchaser is representing that they are acting in a fashion compliant with their local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation, and delivery of wine or spirits. State laws differ regarding shipping or bringing in wine you purchased outside the state. You should check if your state allows you to personally import your product into the state.


By directing the method of shipping, the purchaser represents that he/she has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees or is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required and is legally entitled to take possession of the wine and is legally entitled to take the quantities ordered and again confirms that they are 21 years of age.

  • Shipping

    Ground packages are typically shipped on Monday and Express packages on Monday and Wednesday. Packages are shipped via FedEx, UPS, or GLS for local express. Alcohol can not be shipped to a PO Box or APO address.

    While every attempt is made to satisfy customer requests, delays and other issues in transit are beyond the control of TK Wine.

  • Age Requirements

    Due to federal and state regulations, all wine shipments must be received by an adult 21 years of age or older. An adult must be physically present to sign for the delivery of alcohol. The person receiving delivery will be required to show identification proving that they are at least 21 years old. We highly recommend that you provide us with a business shipping address for best service.

  • Delivery Options

    Arrangements can be made for shipping via FedEx, UPS, and other carriers. Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout. Federal regulations make it illegal to ship wine to a P.O. Box or APO address. If you enter a P.O. Box or APO address as your shipping address, the wine will be returned and you will be charged for the original shipment, the return shipment, and the subsequent shipment to a valid street address.

    You may choose any of the following delivery options.

    Domestic Only:
    Ground – One to five business days in transit, depending on the location
    2 Day – Two business days in transit
    Standard Overnight – One business day in transit

    Insurance

    While every effort is made to package and ship orders carefully and securely, courier companies do not take on any liability for items lost or broken in transit. To address this, insurance is offered in order to provide a method to cover items lost or broken in transit. 

    Please note that this insurance provides coverage for breakage and loss during transit only. Insurance does not cover any loss arising from an item’s condition. Therefore, it will not protect against seal failures or cosmetic damage to lots. It also does not protect against leakage or damage due to temperature or pressure issues.

    For your convenience, a 3% insurance fee is automatically selected at checkout.  However, if you do not wish to apply this insurance on your purchase, please de-select this checkbox when completing your order.

    Express shipping and handling rates will vary based on where a package is shipped, the number of bottles, and the size and weight of the contents.

  • Delivery Problems

    Damage during Shipping
    TKwine.com is not responsible for wines damaged by heat or cold exposure, including and not limited to leaks. Wines spoiled or damaged by changes in temperature or pressure cannot be recovered. Please be aware of weather patterns along the route of travel and choose your shipping method accordingly.

    If you receive damaged merchandise, please email info@tkwine.com or call us at (310)926-4951 within 24 hours of receipt. 

    Incorrect or missing items
    Although rare, if you receive the wrong items, a return pick up can be arranged. If you find that items are missing from your order, please contact within 24 hours of receipt at info@tkwine.com so that we can rectify your order. All returns must be unopened.

    Reshipping
    When an order is returned after several delivery attempts to the provided address or after a package at a hold location is not picked up, arrangements can be made to reship your package. Please note that an additional shipping fee will apply.
